So... I created this Perl script which will be acting as my backend for lyght.org. I don't have to use any web browser at ALL. W00t! q; I made this post using ssh/perl/vim lol.

Some idiot tried to root my box today. Brute force SSH attack. Blocked his ass and had to turn off the SSH service. /: Annoying frackers.

Oh well... on the bright side ^_^ my Perl script works awesome!

I've become so tired of the internet in general... It reminds me of that place you hung out it highschool, because nobody else did, so it was "cool." Now all the little junior high kids found the place and have turned it into their hang out, so it's no longer "cool."

I miss the good ole days of IRC when AOL was a glorified BBS and there was no "Internet Explorer." The days before the ads and spam were everywhere...

Maybe I'm just getting old... Everyone else seems to like these reality shows, retarded cartoons and twitter. Maybe I just need to take a break away from technology. I need to win the lottery so that I can get away from everything.

I had a few weird dreams last night. It's been a while since I've had a very lucid dream and last night I knew I was dreaming, but I was having dreams within dreams and I was even aware of that... I've taken control of my dreams a lot of different times and have gone flying, killed zombies, met Link from TLoZ, but this time I was unable to control them and they turned into nightmares... later, in a separate dream, I saw a friend I hadn't seen in years and I told him that I had been living in Brownsville for the last few months, but that's not accurate. I'd write the dreams down, but most of the details have faded now... we'll see what happens next time.

Anyone else realize that if anything happens, as long as we have Keanu Reeves and Will Smith, we’re ok? They’ve protected us from Aliens, Bad Guys, Robots and pretty much just about everything. I think the only thing they haven’t done is save the earth from Zombies. Z-day is coming my friends… we better hope they prepare and are around to save the day!

Remember when 2010 was the future and it seemed so far away… Sci-Fi movies had flying cars, laser guns, space ships, aliens landed, Zombies attacking, Keanu Reeves is the Savior of mankind… I mean, other than the Aliens and Zombies, where is the rest of the stuff? Where the heck is my laser gun, and hover board!? Oh wait, that happens in 2015 right? Ok, well then where is my cool spaceship to travel the Universe and Seek out new life and new civilizations, and boldly go where no one has gone before?
